Russell Bevan is a highly acclaimed American winemaker renowned for his bold, full-bodied wines, particularly Cabernet Sauvignon and Bordeaux-style blends. Born and raised in California, Bevan’s passion for wine began in his early years, but his initial career took him down a different path in the medical field. However, his love for wine soon led him to explore winemaking, which quickly grew into a professional pursuit. In 2005, he co-founded Bevan Cellars in the Napa Valley.

He is known for his hands-on involvement, often working directly with vineyards to ensure the highest quality fruit. His wines have earned critical acclaim, including numerous 100-point scores from influential critics like Robert Parker.

Weston Eidson

Weston Eidson is an emerging star in the American winemaking scene, known for his innovative approach and commitment to quality. Originally from Texas, Eidson’s journey into the world of wine began somewhat unexpectedly. With a background in law and a successful career in business, he initially discovered his passion for wine while traveling through California’s wine country. This newfound love eventually led him to leave his corporate job and immerse himself fully in winemaking.

In 2012, Eidson founded Silver Ghost Cellars in Napa Valley, inspired by the elegance and history of classic cars—particularly his great-grandfather’s Rolls-Royce Silver Ghost. His wines, particularly Cabernet Sauvignon, are known for their elegance, balance, and depth, reflecting both the rich Napa Valley terroir and his meticulous craftsmanship.

Eidson is hands-on in every aspect of production, from vineyard management to blending, ensuring that each bottle meets his high standards. His dedication to learning and improving has led him to work with some of the most respected figures in the industry, further refining his skills.

Nathan Reeves

Nathan Reeves is a dynamic and innovative Australian winemaker, brewer, and distiller, best known as the founder and winemaker for Out of Step Wine Co. in the Yarra Valley, and Overland Brewers and Distillers in Hobart, Tasmania.

His passion for crafting extraordinary beverages is grounded in a deep understanding of raw materials and scientific processes, and flows from the joy of sharing exceptional and singular drinking experiences with his followers. 

In 2012, Reeves established Out of Step, a winery focused on producing high-quality, minimal intervention wines from emerging Yarra Valley vineyards. His multi-award-winning wines earned him a shortlist nomination for the Australian Young Gun of Wine award in 2017, and two-time finalist for James Halliday’s Wine of the Year. Reeves’ wines, particularly his old-world-inspired whites, are celebrated for their personality, balance, and expression of terroir. 

Reeves’ boundless curiosity for fermentation and flavor concurrently drew him into beer and whisky making. Earning a loyal following for his inventive and meticulous approach to craft with Overland Brewers & Distillers (est. 2020), he now consults to other distilleries as a master whisky blender.

With Westborn, Reeves is realizing a career-long ambition to produce world-class sparkling wine from top California vineyards.
